Trish Engelbert, CEO

has varied experiences in a broad range of coatings.  For 14 years she worked with coatings on ceramics in New England and diversified into coatings on fabric at ChemFab for 3 more years.  Following her training from NACE as a Level 2 Inspector, she began working on pipelines and terminals in the Midwest.  Later, she was a source for field inspection for multiple coating consulting firms in the Chicago market.  Bringing her experiences to bear, Trish established Level 3 Coating Inspection, LLC in 2012.  In 2016, the company has achieve the coveted QP5 designation, one of only 13 to have done so world-wide.  This meteoric rise has shown the ‘can do’ determination of a woman owned business.

 

Pete Engelbert, Quality Manager

began work with Level 3 Coating Inspection, LLC in 2015. Pete has spent much of his career in the field.  Starting as Safety for a regional Ironworker/painting contractor, Pete cross-trained into coating inspection.  8 years later, he moved to the storied J.L. Manta, Inc., the then largest industrial coatings contractor in the USA.  There Pete rose to the role of QA/QC Manager, as well as, ESH Director.  Pete earned his NACE Level 3 inspection certification and became an Instructor in the NACE inspection and corrosion programs.  After 16 years with the Manta organization, he started his own consultancy, Job Safety Associates, LLC.    Pete is also a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, NACE Protective Coating Specialist and BIRNCS Senior Nuclear Coating Specialist.
